Welcome to the All-Out-War instruction manual. If you are new to the game, this is the place to start.

Table of Contents:

AOW: An introduction

All Out War is set in the streets of South Africa. You take the role of a criminal, and your goal is to become the head thug in the game. You are competing against other players as determined as you are - so you'd better keep your eyes peeled for gang attacks, hacks on your bank account, and other nefarious deeds. The developer is open to new ideas - and information about bugs. You can email him at Trixarian@gmail.com.

The Streets

Most of the action in the game takes place here. Below are descriptions of all the menu items available to you.

[1]: Battle the simulator

This menu lets you battle a simulator, to gain experience and up your level. There are three types of simulators: Strength, Defense, and Cash. The Strength simulator improves your strength when you beat it, the Defense simulator improves your defense, and the Cash simulator pays out a small amount of cash if you beat it. Each fight costs 1 Energy Point, and you are likely to get damaged, possibly killed, at the simulator.

[2]: The Shops

Here, you can buy anything and everything you need to play the game. Energy points, attack and defense items, even illegal items that expire after a few uses. (This is South Africa). Some items will have level limitations on them, and remember that you can only buy 1 of any particular item.

[3]: Knockout Ring

In the Knockout Ring, you can challenge another player to a fight. These fights, like the simulator fights, earn you experience. Note: You can use these commands anywhere in the game since version 5.2b!

[4]: The Jobs

In this menu, you can attempt Jobs - Hitman, Bodyguard or Debt Collector. The higher your strength and defense, the higher the payout. There is a 1 in 5 risk of death with every attempt, and each job costs 3 Energy Points to attempt. There is a limit of 5 attempts per day. If you die, you can always heal yourself at the hospital.

[5]: Horse Racing

Every hour, there is a horse race that you can bet on. Use this menu - you will be given statistics on the horses, along with instructions on betting.

[6]: Street Racing

What would a crime game be without Street Racing? Very incomplete. This menu lets you buy a car, pimp it with performance enhancers, and race against other players for bets.

[7]: Dirty Money Laundering

Every day, you get a set amount of Dirty Money. In this menu, you can sell the Dirty Money for useable cash ( R1 Dirty = R0.80 Clean ). You can also buy Dirty Money, for use in the "Shady Deals" section in The Shops. Finally you can sell energy for dirty money.

[8]: National Lottery

At 8PM every night, a Lottery draw takes place. Use this menu to buy tickets, to stand a chance of winning the jackpot. You are allowed a maximum of 20 tickets per day.

[9]: Stock Markets

Here, you can buy stocks in leading drug brands, to later re-sell at a profit.

[10]: Caged Fighting

Every hour, a Caged Fight takes place. Two players are picked at random, and pitted against eachother. The fight is automatic, and the player with the highest strength and defense levels usually wins. You can place bets on the fighters from this menu. Caged Fights pay out R100,000 to the winner of the fight, as well as experience points.

[11]: Safe Cracking

Every day, you are allowed to attempt 5 Safe Cracks. The larger the safe, the less chance you have of breaking in, but the bigger the payout. Each attempt costs 3 Energy Points.

[12]: Casino

You can try your luck at the Casino's slots for some quick cash. (The AOW slots have a higher payout probability than real casino slots.)

[13]: Drive By Shootings

Every hour, a Drive By Shooting takes place, when famous gangsters are out for revenge. In this menu, you can place bets on which gangster is going to make the most kills.

[14]: Hackers

In the New South Africa, people entrust their money to banks. The Hackers section allows you to hire hackers, equip them with items, then use them to hack open the accounts of other players. You cannot hack someone more than 10 levels below you, and you can only employ hackers once you reach level 10.
